About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Diesel Fleet Technician at our onsite facility in Hubbard, TX. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure they meet new state or DOT standards. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and testing trucks and trailers, with a focus on brakes, braking systems, and related chassis components. The position also includes completing annual inspections and performing repairs on trucks and trailers that have malfunctions or breakdowns. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required
  • At least 2 years of diesel mechanic experience required
  • Welding experience required
  • Air Brake Certification required
  • DOT Inspector Certification required
  • Must have proper tools
  • Availability to work evening and weekend shifts

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs on malfunction or breakdown on trucks and trailers.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance.
  • Inspect, repair, maintain, and test trucks and trailers at maintenance intervals.
  • Maintain trucks and trailers to new state or DOT standards.
  • Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, and all related chassis components.
  • Complete annual inspections.
