About The Position

The Die Cutting Process Manager will oversee the Corporate Tool Programming Team and ensure standardized training programs across all sites. This role involves managing equipment inspections, technology upgrades, and R&D, as well as working with purchasing and vendors for optimal supplies and prices. The manager will also act as a liaison with equipment manufacturers and streamline the onboarding of new acquisitions.

  • Experience as a liaison with equipment manufacturers
  • Experience setting up and overseeing programming teams

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Corporate Tool Programming Team
  • Communicate with plant die shop/cutting leads to schedule jobs to be sent to the die shops to be built
  • Oversee standardized training programs in die shops, die utility, and die cutting departments in all sites for processes, equipment operation, and tool storage
  • Oversee equipment inspections, replacement plans, technology upgrades/R&D and standardization of equipment in die shops and die cutting in all sites
  • Work with purchasing and vendors to get the best supplies at the best prices
  • Work with the Corporate team to streamline the onboarding of future acquisitions products, processes, and equipment
  • Work as direct liaison to Bobst, and all other die cutting/die shop equipment manufacturers for upgrades to existing equipment and new tech upgrades and R&D
  • Officially setup and oversee the corporate tool programming team.
