About The Position

The Die Cutter contributes to the company’s success by producing high-quality products efficiently and safely. The employee follows work-order instructions, performs quality tests, and meets productivity standards. The role includes running the press, completing production jobs, troubleshooting problems, and performing routine press maintenance as needed. The employee also inspects and packages finished products according to supplied specifications and standard criteria, follows the daily schedule, and communicates progress and problems to the Production Manager. The position requires maintaining a positive, professional attitude and a safe, clean, organized work area, as well as maintaining equipment and tooling and promptly reporting equipment issues or tooling damage. Safety rules require wearing safety glasses and steel-toed shoes on the production floor.

Responsibilities

Run the press and complete jobs efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Meet the company’s hourly production expectations.
Follow work-order instructions and perform quality tests.
Inspect finished products against supplied specifications and standard quality criteria.
Package finished products according to supplied specifications and standard packaging criteria.
Follow the daily production schedule and communicate progress and problems to the Production Manager.
Provide problem solving and routine press maintenance as needed.
Maintain equipment and tooling properly and immediately report equipment issues or tooling damage.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and a positive, professional attitude.
Follow safety rules, including wearing safety glasses and steel-toed shoes on the production floor.
