Part Time Dialysis Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outpatient dialysis team in Medford, MA. In this role, you'll provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. This is a part-time position with 15-20 hours per week, primarily involving PM/Evening Hours (6 PM - Midnight) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Paid training is provided, and the training period will occur during regular business hours. The role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you can build long-term patient relationships and apply a broad range of nursing skills with medically complex patients.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation for potential floating
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- CNN/CDN certification (Dialysis Experienced)
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to health changes
- Collaborate with a supportive clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians
- Educate patients and families on kidney health and treatment options
