About The Position

As a Clinical Manager with Fresenius Medical Care, you will ensure quality patient care while maintaining clinical operations. As the facility leader, you will work with a collaborative team to deliver individualized care plans and dialysis treatment to patients with end stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease. The role includes participation in the Clinical Leadership Program, which supports continuous learning through onboarding, essential functions, business leadership, and advanced leadership. Potential career advancement paths include Area Team Lead or Director of Operations. You will manage clinic operations, patient care, staff, and physician relationships. The position provides direct patient care and involves work in a healthcare facility, with possible travel between assigned facilities and to regional, business unit, or corporate meetings. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
Current appropriate state licensure.
At least 6 years of business operations experience in a healthcare facility.
At least 12 months of clinical nursing experience.
At least 6 months of chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience.
Successfully pass the Ishihara Color Blind Test.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of supervisory or project/program management experience.
Med/surg or ICU/CCU experience.

Responsibilities

Manage clinic operations, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards.
Lead, coach, and develop direct reports.
Partner with Human Resources, Quality, and Technical Services departments.
Collaborate with or serve as the Home Therapies Program Manager to oversee the facility’s Home Therapies Program.
Maintain medical and operations records and comply with data collection and auditing activities.
Complete the Annual Standing Order Review and Internal Classification of Disease (ICD) coding.
Manage clinic financials, including efficient use of supplies and equipment and regular profit-and-loss reviews.
Complete required network reporting and support on-site state or federal surveys.
Coordinate patient care with appropriate staff from admission through discharge.
Educate patients about quality measures, transplant options, modality awareness, and access care.
Serve as a resource for patients and families addressing concerns and questions.
Ensure timely completion of patient care assessments and care plans.
Manage patient schedules, develop action plans for missed treatments, and support facility efficiency.
Plan, coordinate, and validate patient eligibility for treatment.
Report changes in patient status related to clinical, insurance, travel, or transportation issues.
Participate in selecting and hiring team members and ensure completion of new-hire orientation and mandatory training.
Ensure patient care employees complete appropriate training and maintain current licenses and certifications.
Support clinical staff regularly and encourage professional growth.
Maintain current knowledge of company benefits, policies, procedures, and processes.
Complete employee evaluations and establish annual goals.
Document disciplinary actions and consult with the clinic Director of Operations and Human Resources when needed.
Manage staff scheduling and payroll.
Facilitate physician privilege applications and compliance with Fresenius Medical Care Medical Staff By-Laws.
Build strong physician relationships and ensure regular, effective communication.
Participate in the regional Governing Body, an interdisciplinary team that governs policies.
