About The Position
DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. The position may require floating between local clinics and working a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Dialysis certified.
- Accredited high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED) credential, or equivalent.
- Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
- Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
- Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification.
- Healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
- Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
- Record vital signs and patient data.
- Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
- Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
