Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Diagnostic Radiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway. Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
Active or eligible for a New York State medical license

Responsibilities

Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
Perform and interpret imaging procedures, including General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances (by injection, orally) to render internal structures visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens, recognizing and treating procedure-related complications.
Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services with other medical activities.
Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
