About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging Innovation Radiologist to join one of our valued client partners in New York, New York. This academic-focused opportunity is ideal for a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist seeking to combine advanced clinical practice with teaching, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a leading children's imaging environment. The selected physician will interpret a broad spectrum of pediatric diagnostic imaging studies while partnering with pediatric specialists, residents, fellows, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This position also provides opportunities to participate in academic initiatives, mentorship, quality improvement, and clinical research while utilizing advanced imaging technologies.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York before employment.
  • Strong expertise interpreting pediatric radiology examinations across multiple imaging modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence.
  • Must currently reside within commuting distance of New York, New York, or relocate independently before employment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret pediatric diagnostic imaging studies including radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and evidence-based diagnostic interpretations.
  • Collaborate with pediatric specialists to guide patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and complex pediatric case reviews.
  • Mentor residents, fellows, and medical students through academic teaching activities.
  • Contribute to clinical research, scholarly publications, and departmental education initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards for imaging quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate imaging findings effectively with referring physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Support the advancement of pediatric imaging protocols and best practices.
