About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Charleston, WV. This role involves providing remote diagnostic radiology interpretations for ER, MSK, and Neuro cases. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a clinical and call coverage type. The shift schedule includes swing shifts, specifically 7 on/7 off, with weekend shifts from Saturday to Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The average daily volume is 90-100 studies, with a case mix of 60% ER, 10% MSK, and 30% Neuro. Required modalities include XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. The radiologist will also be expected to interpret CT perfusion, MR abdomen, general radiology, and MSK studies. Productivity expectations are 90-100 studies per 8-hour shift. The role requires collaboration with referring physicians and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Active West Virginia License
• Active DEA Registration
• Board Certified

Nice To Haves

• Required modalities include XR, CT, MR, US, NM.
• Also expected to interpret CT perfusion, MR abdomen, general radiology, and MSK studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote diagnostic radiology interpretations for ER, MSK, and Neuro cases.
