About The Position

Onsite Imaging Services, LLC is a fast-growing, privately-owned company that has been delivering exceptional mobile diagnostic services for over a decade. We are looking for talented, multi-specialty sonographers to join our dynamic team. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a qualified professional responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasounds, including routine pelvic and transvaginal scans for GYN/OB patients, as well as potential multi-specialty services such as vascular and small parts studies, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, and the organization's policies, values, and mission.

Requirements

Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
Florida driver’s license
Personal automobile
Fluent in speaking English (Spanish preferred)
Active ARDMS, CPR, OSHA certification - (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, CCI)
1 Year OB/GYN experience (Required)
CPR/BLS Certification (REQUIRED)
Accredited Program: Ultrasound Technologist (Required)
American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART), BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE), BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Must be registered in ARDMS (OBGYN,AB, RVT, BR, or PS).
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or possess a foreign diploma recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Minimal travel between accounts will be required, expecting all travel to be conducted in a timely manner ensuring punctuality.

Responsibilities

Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if clinically appropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies.
Selects appropriate imaging parameters.
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Communicates effectively with ordering physicians, other medical professionals, and administrative staff.
