About The Position

Delivers nonprofessional services necessary to assist with radiologic procedures. Transports patients to and from the department safely, efficiently, and quickly using appropriate tools, including carts, wheelchairs, taxis, or beds as needed. Assists with transferring patients from stretchers to carts or wheelchairs. Stocks supplies and replenishes the department’s oxygen supply. Communicates delays or changes in patient condition to technologists and other imaging staff.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent with GED.
• CPR certification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and participate in shared lifting of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays according to schedule.

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
