About The Position

The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant supports technologists by explaining procedures to patients and their families and obtaining patient histories. The role also provides receptionist and patient-access support, including registration, scheduling, and checking in patients. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position at 1410 N Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer proficiency.
CPR (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Excellent telephone etiquette.
Previous Windows experience.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, especially in direct patient care roles.
Experience in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Keyboarding skills of 35–40 words per minute.
