Requirements

  • Active favorable adjudicated T5, T5R or HT
  • DHS experience highly desired
  • Flexible work location, Remote-friendly

Responsibilities

  • Conduct online and in-person record searches at law enforcement agencies, courthouses, educational institutions, employers, healthcare providers, and other authorized sources.
  • Retrieve and verify records pertinent to federal background investigations.
  • Conduct database searches utilizing approved investigative systems and resources.
  • Compile findings into clear, concise, and comprehensive Reports of Investigation (ROIs).
  • Ensure all investigative documentation complies with government standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and properly safeguard sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Meet established quality, timeliness, and production standards.
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information or case clarification.
  • Collaborate with reviewers, investigators, and management to ensure complete and accurate case documentation.
