About The Position

This role requires a DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in the IT industry, focusing on Cloud computing, DevOps Implementation, Linux administration, and Build and Release Engineering. The candidate must be proficient in configuration management, automation, and deploying applications across different environments. Expertise in cloud infrastructure automation using AWS and GCP, along with tools like Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Jenkins, is essential. The role involves creating network components such as Subnets, Security groups, VPC, and Route 53 for multi-region setups. Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes for orchestration is required. The engineer will develop XML, Shell Scripts, and Python Scripts for monitoring and automating build and deployment processes. Maintaining project artifacts throughout the software development lifecycle using configuration management tools like GIT is crucial. The position heavily utilizes Jenkins for continuous integration and end-to-end automation. Shell scripting for release and build automation, along with version control using GIT and SVN, is expected. Strong troubleshooting skills for build, deployment, and production issues are necessary. A deep understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) principles, including compiling, packaging, deploying, and application configurations, is required. Experience in developing front-end systems with JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3 is also mentioned. Familiarity with build management tools like Ant and Maven, and issue tracking tools such as JIRA and Service Now, is needed. Support for database systems including Oracle, MySQL on Linux/Unix, and Windows environments is part of the role.
