About The Position

Ziosk is seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to help produce high-quality systems. The role works directly with cloud engineers to ensure proper infrastructure-as-code practices, configure CI/CD pipelines, and configure and monitor code analysis tools. Familiarity with deployment strategies such as blue/green, feature flags, and canary deployments is desired. The position is based on-site in Plano, Texas, and requires daily commuting to that location.

Requirements

Proficient in Bicep and YAML.
Experience with C#, Python, and PowerShell.
Experience with the Azure platform.
Proficiency working with code repositories, primarily Git-based.
Proficient knowledge of database management, including SQL and NoSQL.
Familiarity with PCI DSS or other security compliance standards and participation in audits.
Must be eligible and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Must be able to commute to Plano, Texas daily.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Kubernetes, React, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with deployment strategies such as blue/green, feature flag, and canary deployments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for all cloud components.
Set up build pipelines for new projects, ensuring best security practices are followed.
Set up and maintain build servers.
Ensure all new resources follow infrastructure-as-code best practices.
Configure static analysis tools and ensure failures are addressed.
Monitor deprecation notices and enact upgrades as needed.
