Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps)
About The Position
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support a client full time in Reston, Virginia, or Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role calls for broad hands-on technical capability across programming, database management, containerization or virtualization, and security practices. The engineer will help support reliable, secure, and efficient systems in a dynamic environment, using technical skills to troubleshoot and investigate large amounts of data. The position also includes scheduled on-call support, with 24/7 availability for no more than one week every two months, to troubleshoot and mitigate issues across multiple systems. Applicants must hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. The role requires a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or four years of equivalent experience, along with experience in Kusto or SQL, Azure and Azure Function Apps, and Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD. Requirements
- A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or another related technical field, or four years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with Kusto or SQL.
- Experience with Azure and Azure Function Apps.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD.
- Ability to troubleshoot and investigate large amounts of data.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Availability to provide on-call support as specified: 24/7 availability for no more than one week every two months.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with containerization or virtualization technologies such as Kubernetes (K9s), Docker, or virtual machine environments.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Bash, Java, C, or C++.
- DoD 8570 baseline certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CASP+, or CCSP.
- CompTIA Server+ and/or CompTIA A+ certifications.
