About The Position

Apogee is hiring a DevOps Engineer Support to support the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) task order, which provides Command, Control, and Communications services for critical U.S. Government missions through Air to Global Information Grid Gateways supported by a Systems Integration Lab. The role supports EACN’s Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program, providing Government Engineers with technical support on vulnerability-order applicability, mitigation actions, network architecture engineering, and supporting documentation. The position focuses on creating and maintaining network and systems automation tools, automating router and switch provisioning and upgrades, maintaining a network CI/CD pipeline, scripting interactions with network APIs, and automating lab environments. The engineer will also support operational workflows, technical documentation, cross-functional engineering collaboration, and troubleshooting. The posting gives two different work locations: Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois, in the overview, and Joint Base Andrews in Andrews, Maryland, in the additional information. The position is full-time and on-site, may require 10% travel, and is contingent upon contract award.
