About The Position

BAM is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). The role collaborates with development and operations teams to automate workflows, improve system reliability, and ensure scalability. The engineer also monitors system performance, troubleshoots issues, and optimizes infrastructure for efficiency and security. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong experience with AWS.
• Proficiency in Terraform for managing infrastructure.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain scalable infrastructure in an automated fashion.
• Work with developers and cybersecurity engineers to foster a DevSecOps mindset across teams.
• Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment.
• Document infrastructure configurations and deployment processes according to organizational and industry requirements.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Work with Cyber Analysts and Engineers to monitor and respond to security incidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
