About The Position

365 Retail Markets is seeking a skilled, proactive DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize cloud-based environments. The role supports Java-based applications and helps ensure high availability, security, compliance, and operational excellence. It includes participation in an on-call pager support rotation and collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve CI/CD and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native services.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Solid experience with SSL certificate management.
• Experience with patch management for Linux systems and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
• Strong experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting Java-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with New Relic and Grafana.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, including basic administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in automation and process improvement.
• Experience building, managing, and supporting infrastructure in PCI-compliant environments.
• Must participate in the on-call pager support rotation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud security and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production support environment.
• AWS Architect certification is a plus.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Administer and support Linux-based systems in production and non-production environments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot EKS clusters.
• Manage SSL certificates, including renewals, deployments, and troubleshooting across applications and environments.
• Manage patching for Linux servers, cloud infrastructure, and related systems to support security, compliance, and stability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and Python.
• Build, maintain, and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Monitor and support Java-based applications to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance observability solutions using New Relic and Grafana.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve deployments, reduce manual effort, and increase system reliability.
• Build, manage, and maintain infrastructure in compliance with PCI requirements and security best practices.
• Participate in the on-call pager support rotation and respond to production incidents as required.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline CI/CD and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and environment issues, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
