This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON. The role involves supporting enterprise business and infrastructure projects, with a focus on application and middleware support for pre-production and production systems on a 7/24/365 basis. The position requires high-level problem-solving, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills to resolve data recovery issues in a multi-platform environment. The candidate will also be responsible for system monitoring, performance and data integrity in accordance with ITIL standards, incident management, change management, performance analysis, resource usage tracking, log searches, emergency problem resolution, and ad-hoc reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for making presentations, liaising with staff, and working within a technical multi-disciplinary team. The role may also require providing support to internal and external clients on a 7/24 basis and coordinating/leading staff and stakeholders.
