Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 1 year of professional experience providing social services, referrals, and/or case management
- Knowledge of developmental milestones, assessments, and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical professional standards
Nice To Haves
- Developmental Specialist Certification or related credential
- Experience with early intervention programs
- Knowledge of community resources and service navigation
Responsibilities
- Conduct developmental assessments for children and adults
- Create and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers
- Provide guidance, training, and support to families
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Connect individuals and families with valuable community resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
