Developmental Specialist
About The Position
Play is not a break from learning. For young children, it is the learning. We’re hiring Part-Time DIR/Floortime Developmental Specialists to work with children ages 3–12 in our relationship-based Floortime Program at CBC Education. This role focuses on: Emotional regulation and engagement, Expanding communication through play, Building problem-solving and flexibility, Strengthening parent-child interaction, Supporting developmental milestones in natural settings. Sessions take place in-home and/or in-center, where you’ll guide children through meaningful, child-led interactions — while coaching parents on how to continue that growth beyond the session. We’re looking for professionals who are observant, reflective, adaptable, and passionate about early development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Psychology or related field required.
- Observant, reflective, adaptable, and passionate about early development.
