As a Developmental Disabilities LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective, and person-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current LPN license in good standing
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making ability
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Supervisory or management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, and notify physicians when needed
• Perform treatments (e.g., tube feedings, wound care, first aid, topical/ear/eye medications) and evaluate effectiveness
• Assess individuals’ health status through vital signs and ongoing observation
• Respond promptly to health-related concerns communicated by team members
• Ensure proper storage and security of medications and treatment supplies
• Accurately assess conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate records including MAR/TAR, narcotic counts, and nursing notes by end of shift
• Supervise and ensure proper administration of medications and treatments by staff
