About The Position

Developmental disabilities professionals are encouraged to consider an available full-time Quality Specialist position with Liberty Healthcare. In this role you will help improve the quality of Home and Community Based Services for older adults and people with developmental disabilities throughout Nebraska.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting older adults and/or people who are living with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of best practices in person-centered care / Home and Community Based Services
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, special education, psychology, criminal justice - or similar social service, health care, or human services field
  • Residency within Nebraska is required – ideally within proximity of Omaha or Lincoln.
  • Relevant work experience
  • Social work, service coordination, case management, direct support, advocacy, and QIDP roles bring relevant transferrable skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing critical incidents and sentinel events
  • Analyzing data
  • Writing reports
  • Actively participating in meetings
  • Providing technical assistance in person-centered care
