About The Position

The Development Technical Lead serves as a technical and architectural leader for enterprise application integration solutions. The role translates business requirements into design and technical specifications, establishes coding standards, and provides technical guidance and mentorship to Developers and Senior Developers. It leads architecture design and code reviews, collaborates across Agile delivery teams, promotes AI-assisted developer tooling, and partners with QA and support teams on defect resolution and performance tuning across complex enterprise integration platforms. The role guides the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise middleware, microservices, and message-oriented integration solutions. It also designs and builds secure RESTful and SOAP web services, API contracts, data mappings, and XML/JSON message-processing transformations. The Technical Lead works with cross-functional partners throughout the project delivery lifecycle and troubleshoots complex integration issues in Linux and cloud environments. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and enterprise application integration solutions (EAI, B2B, ESB).
5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Fuse ESB, Apache Camel, Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka, Camel on Spring Boot, and application server technologies such as Karaf and JBoss.
In-depth development and implementation experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
Strong expertise designing and building RESTful and SOAP web services, API contracts, data mapping, and XML/JSON message processing.
Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Git, Stash/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, SonarQube, and Docker containerization.
Extensive experience in Linux and cloud operating environments.
Proven experience applying SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading technical delivery teams.
Experience leveraging enterprise AI developer tools for code generation, automated unit test creation, refactoring, and development-workflow optimization.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in HL7 and EDI libraries and JSON and XML messaging standards.
Proficiency designing and developing complex enterprise integrations using Workday Studio.
Experience with centralized logging and monitoring stacks such as Splunk and Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

Create design and technical specifications from business requirements, providing architecture guidance, coding standards, and mentorship to Developers and Senior Developers.
Lead and participate in architecture design and code reviews with developers, solution architects, and engineering leadership.
Guide the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise middleware, microservices, and message-oriented integration solutions, including Apache Camel, Red Hat Fuse, Kafka, and ActiveMQ.
Design and build secure RESTful and SOAP web services, API contracts, data mappings, and complex XML/JSON message-processing transformations.
Mentor team members on AI prompt engineering and reviewing AI-generated code for quality, security, and coding-standard compliance.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Quality Analysts throughout SDLC/Agile project delivery.
Partner with Quality Analysts and support teams to troubleshoot integration issues and defects, identify root causes, resolve production defects, and tune performance in Linux and cloud environments.
