About The Position

Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. This position supports Development Services' efforts to identify and engage individuals of affluence and/or influence and invite them to invest resources so adolescents are introduced to Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. This role requires strong organizational and administrative gifts. Due to Young Life's exclusive Christian purposes, employees must profess a belief in Jesus Christ, subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith, and abide by all policies and practices of Young Life. Employees are expected to minister as a servant of God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

  • College degree, business school or two years of administrative experience required.
  • Personal desire to know, love and follow Jesus Christ.

  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage and prioritize concurrent duties.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Young Life experience is a plus.
  • Prior Salesforce, WealthEngine and Lexus Nexus experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite (including InDesign)

Responsibilities

  • Provide communication, tracking and database management for the International Monthly Donor Initiative Lead Team.
  • International Legacy Fund tracking, communication, database management, and working with Young Life Foundation office to manage this initiative.
  • Track and report indigenous giving.
  • Assist with event logistics for VP of Development, international campaign directors and donors.
  • Provide financial tracking and transfers for all of International Development.
  • Collect data and create reports for major foundations and donors.
  • Assist with donor cultivation, communication and thanking.
  • Assist with Salesforce administration for international campaign directors.
  • Maintain current development tools for international campaigns, including engagement tools, cases and more.
  • Work with the other development associates on reporting, research and deep dives.
  • Workflow management.
  • Assist with scheduling for Director, team, department meetings, etc.
  • Organize and maintain team’s filing system, resources, tools, and processes.
  • Respond to intake requests from the field for grant support through our team’s email queue.
  • Participate in stewardship activities for foundation giving such as reporting and thanking.
  • Assist with auditing and editing funding opportunities in grant management database.
  • Maintain team’s website, branding, Canva folders, slide decks, etc. as needed.
  • Run monthly financial reports on foundation giving.
  • Coordinate quarterly in-person team meetings.
  • Support departmental operations as needed.
