About The Position

Under general supervision of the Development Services Director, this part-time position performs a variety of technical and administrative support duties related to accepting, processing, reviewing, and tracking building permits, development applications, and other department functions. This role serves as the primary point of contact for building permit processing and supports department operations through accurate tracking of submittals, communication, and administrative coordination.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Four years of related experience performing office management, administrative support, or related duties, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Utah Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain International Code Council Certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Accepting, processing, reviewing, and tracking building permits and development applications.
