About The Position

This 4-month COOP position is within the Development Engineering department, where your primary role will be managing experimental engines alongside Module, Build and Test Engineers. You will work with other areas of engineering to understand what type of engine testing is required to validate new designs. You will assist in coordinating the build of engines through modification or instrumentation of sub-components all with the end goal of gathering quality engine data during the engine tests. During the COOP internships at Pratt & Whitney you will work in innovative and versatile teams. You will work on ongoing projects that will have a meaningful impact on the company.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
• Able to work on-site in the province where hired.
• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written).
• Completion of a criminal background check.
• Obtaining any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Nice To Haves
