Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursue a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills in French (spoken/written).
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and document the best practices used to perform typical testing during the development and certification phases of a turbomachine
  • Assist the validation engineer of a gas turbomachine, within a development engineering team, to review the current working practices to perform engine or component tests
  • Identify the best working methods and document them to ensure a solid and repeatable validation methodology.
