About The Position

The Development Data and Research Intern supports the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Silver Spring Development team by organizing program data, creating impact materials, and conducting research to support fundraising. This Spring 2027 internship requires a minimum commitment of 12 weeks and 22.5 hours per week. It is not fully remote: interns must be able to work in the office at least one day per week, and an overall ability to work in person is preferred. Interns are expected to attend an in-person orientation on January 25, 2027, from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Internships with IRC Silver Spring are unpaid; Spring 2027 interns may be eligible for a $15-per-day per diem reimbursement to offset food and travel costs. Selected applicants must complete background checks, and the posting asks for a $30 donation to help cover associated costs. The IRC responds to humanitarian crises and works in more than 40 countries and 29 U.S. cities. Its stated professional standards include Integrity, Service, Equality, and Accountability.
