About The Position

Our Development Coordinator will provide the operational backbone for Blue Circle Health’s fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director of Development (currently held on an interim basis by the Vice President of Community Engagement until the Director of Development position is filled), this role is responsible for donor tracking, gift processing, reporting, and execution support that ensures a consistent, professional donor experience as fundraising activity grows. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a brand-new development team, making prior startup experience highly valuable. You will play a key role in implementing a new donor CRM system and supporting the launch of this new branch of the organization. Knowledge of type 1 diabetes or chronic disease management is preferred. Join a team of people who are reshaping what healthcare can be. This is a full time, remote, home-office based role eligible for a full benefits package including paid holidays, PTO, and competitive pay in a mission-based work environment. A private, quiet, home office space is required. Candidates can live anywhere in the United States. Some travel is expected for community events, conferences, and company retreats, with travel requirements potentially reaching up to 25% of total time and sometimes requiring weekend work.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in development operations, fundraising project management in individual, foundation, and corporate giving.
  • Extensive experience with fundraising software/CRM systems, including configuring CRM functions, reporting, and developing dashboards to monitor team performance.
  • Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in partnership with leadership.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft compelling proposals, reports, and donor communications.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. Start-up or high growth experience necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Bloomerang is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of moves management and the donor lifecycle preferred.
  • Passion for health equity, chronic disease care, or nonprofit healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Personal or professional experience with type 1 diabetes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of type 1 diabetes or chronic disease management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build out and maintain our fundraising platform and donor CRM (Bloomerang).
  • Maintain accurate donor, prospect, and activity records in the CRM.
  • Track moves management, next steps, and pipeline progress to proactively support leadership in managing strong donor relationships.
  • Produce regular fundraising reports and dashboards to support performance monitoring.
  • Manage gift entry, acknowledgements, pledge tracking, and payment schedules for individual donors.
  • Track grant application and reporting cycles, activating leadership well before due dates.
  • Ensuring timely, accurate, and donor-centered stewardship touchpoints.
  • Support preparation of donor reports and impact communications.
  • Coordinate logistics for donor meetings, briefings, and engagement activities.
  • Develop and execute annual giving efforts, including appeal calendars, sequencing, and gratitude workflows.
  • Assist with donor communications and materials in partnership with Community Engagement staff.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events.
  • Provide scheduling, project management, and administrative support to the Director of Development as well as the CEO for fundraising related functions.
  • Support compliance with fundraising regulations and internal processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development systems and workflows.
