About The Position

At Citizens, our Enterprise Technology & Security (ET&S) organization is evolving how technology and security teams work, grow, and deliver in an increasingly digital, AI-enabled environment. Driven by our Next Generation Technology (NGT) strategy, the rise of AI and agentic ways of working, the build-out of our Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, and the Reimagine the Bank agenda, ET&S is reshaping how technology and security talent learns, leads, and delivers. We are committed to driving innovation and excellence through our people and are seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development and Talent Management Professional to join our team and lead transformative talent and workforce initiatives in partnership with ET&S leadership. The Development Consultant will help ET&S build the leadership, talent, and organizational capabilities needed to deliver through a period of significant technology and workforce transformation. This role will support leader readiness, talent & succession planning, and future-focused capability development while helping teams adapt to new ways of working in an AI-enabled, globally connected technology organization. Working closely with ET&S leaders, the role will translate business priorities into practical talent and change strategies that improve execution, strengthen resilience, and accelerate business value.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or a related field, with a strong focus on organizational effectiveness and change enablement practices.
  • Strong understanding and experience applying change management methodologies and best practices in a transforming business environment.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills; strong stakeholder management, including experience partnering with executive and senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting technology organizations and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is preferred.
  • Financial services experience is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in change management or talent development are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of organizational structures, culture, key skills and processes to identify areas of opportunity; Design solutions that address the areas of opportunity and align with business strategy.
  • Lead and facilitate large-scale change initiatives by developing strategies and frameworks that drive adoption, alignment and commitment to change at all levels of the organization.
  • Design and implement talent management strategies, including leadership development programs, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of organizational development programs and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and other departments to align organizational goals and business strategy with talent management strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for organizational development initiatives.
