About The Position

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Development and Communications Specialist to join their Administration Department. This role is responsible for assisting with grant applications, coordinating donations and fundraising campaigns, and supporting agency-wide communications and media activities. The specialist will develop and edit publications, coordinate marketing for special events, produce content for various media, and manage the production of marketing materials. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the research, writing, and submission of federal, state, city, private and corporate grant applications.
• Coordination of individual donations and fundraising campaigns including event sponsorships.
• Supporting agency-wide communications and media activities.
• Developing and editing publications.
• Coordinating special events marketing.
• Producing content for brochures, flyers, annual report, website and other publications.
• Coordinating the production of marketing materials.
