About The Position

The Development Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the PeakMade Construction & Development team and Accounts Payable team. This role will be full-time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Account for multiple construction projects. Responsibilities include tracking all project costs, communicating with the development and operations team regarding budgeted or upcoming costs, submitting draw requests, managing cash, reviewing contracts/legal documents, and preparing projects financial statements. Track pursuit costs on the corporate side as well as assist with preparing corporate's consolidated financial statements. Review and assist property development accounting associate with construction projects. Implement and document new processes as it relates to the accounting department. Communicate with vendors, project managers, ownership, lenders, and team members. Ensure all payments made are following Certificate of Insurance requirements. Research and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.

Requirements

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PDF, and Outlook
  • Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Sage, CMIC, and Netsuite is a plus
