About The Position

The Private Cloud Products organization provides development and sustenance for SAP’s enterprise portfolio, including SAP S/4HANA. We are looking for an engaged and dynamic developer with strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a proven ability and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and productivity, to contribute to the development, sustenance, and continuous innovation of our core products. In this role, you will contribute to the maintenance and development of solutions within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, working closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative and international environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Experience with Java or JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of AI concepts, including agents and Large Language Models (LLMs), as well as Python.
  • Basic understanding of SAP technologies such as SAP ERP, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori.
  • Interest or exposure to ERP, CRM, or SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Experience working in enterprise software environments.

  • Performing detailed analysis of customer incidents and technical requests to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Participating in the design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of product enhancements and new features.
  • Ensuring high quality, performance, maintainability, and security standards in developed solutions.
  • Continuously improving existing solutions and contributing ideas for innovation and optimization.
