About The Position

Ajaia is an AI implementation consultancy and product studio building software that helps organizations use AI in real work. The company is growing its engineering team to build education technology products.

As a Developer, you will build features for Ajaia’s education products and work with the Lead Developer and product team. You will write clean code, fix bugs, and ship work on a regular schedule. The role involves front-end and back-end development, integrations with learning management tools and school systems, testing, and helping add AI features to products. You will also use AI coding tools in your daily work and communicate progress and problems early.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of software development experience.
• Experience working on EdTech or learning products.
• Good skills in React or Next.js and in Node.js or Python.
• Comfort with APIs, databases, and Git.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility and student data privacy.
• Hands-on experience using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) in a real project.
• Regular use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor, and the judgment to check their output.
• Good written and spoken communication, including clear updates and asking questions early.
• Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LTI, SCORM, or xAPI.
• Experience with prompt design, RAG, or AI agents.
• Experience with video, quizzes, or assessment tools.

Responsibilities
