About The Position

Ericsson Inc. seeks a Developer (Staff Compiler) in Austin, TX; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to involved in the full cycle of development and application of Code Analysis software tools for modern Telecommunication systems (5G). What you will do: Involved in software areas including Compilers for DSPs (Digital Signal Processors), Code Quality verification tools (checkers), high performance build systems including Bazel), Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) and LLM (Large Language Model) related research and development. Oversees product planning, development and deployment in areas related to Code Analysis. Involved in software development, software quality and software security expertise to research, design, develop, analyze and enhance different components of the compiler codes to achieve optimal software development results. Utilize expertise in telecommunications, software architecture, and software development to design, plan, deploy, integrate, and test Code Analysis software tools and processes for the main code base for base telecommunication stations. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience in software development, product management, or a related occupation.
  • 5 years of experience in Software Development for Embedded devices and DSP (Digital Signal Processors)
  • 5 years of experience in Telecommunication systems and standards including 4G and 5G
  • 5 years of experience in High performance build systems including Bazel
  • 5 years of experience in Software Architecture, Design, and Development at both high and low design levels (HLD, LLD) including Object Oriented Design and Development (OOD)
  • 5 years of experience in Software Project, Product and Software Development Life-Cycle management
  • 5 years of experience Utilizing C/C++ in the development of advanced software projects with complex architecture and large codebase including compiler
  • 5 years of experience Using Python for automation, simulation, data visualization, data analysis, and ML (Machine Learning)
  • 5 years of experience in SCM (Software Configuration Management), Software Release Management and sophisticated functional and automated Code Review, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) using Jenkins.

Responsibilities
