Senior Staff Engineer - AI Compiler

EricssonAustin, TX
Onsite

About The Position

This role focuses on optimizing AI models for custom, bare-metal silicon, specifically 5G/6G telecommunications hardware, rather than existing GPUs. The Senior AI Compiler Engineer will be responsible for building a complete MLIR-based compiler stack from the ground up. This involves tackling the challenge of bridging the gap between research models and hardware-optimized silicon execution, a technically demanding problem in the industry. The position is based in Austin, Texas, and is not a remote opportunity.

  • MLIR Architecture experience
  • Compiler Infrastructure experience
  • Experience with 5G/6G Silicon
  • Bare-Metal AI experience
  • Experience building a complete MLIR-based compiler stack from the ground up.
  • Experience lowering computational graphs from JAX and StableHLO.
  • Experience with concurrency and memory modeling for bare-metal systems.
