About The Position

DPP is seeking a Developer IV for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry. This role supports the TRICARE T5 and VA CCN lines of business, ensuring sustained operational stability. The position requires advanced technical expertise to maintain and enhance critical integrations and secure data exchange processes impacting contract performance, compliance, and delivery timelines. The development team operates in a hybrid work culture, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related field; OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR 4 years of job-related work experience.
  • 6+ years of application development, systems testing or other job related experience.
  • SFTP SecureFX workflows
  • SFTP operations involving Tomcat, Java based scripting, VShell, and automated SFTP clean up processes
  • Oracle Java JRE management
  • Sterling Connect: Direct file transfer configuration and support
  • Splunk monitoring, alerting, and log analysis capabilities
  • Strong understanding of applications/development, quality assurance and integration methodologies, concepts and facilities in a mainframe, midrange, and/or PC/LAN environment.
  • Strong analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates logical abstract thinking and assimilating/adhering to project goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of interpersonal skills/team building.
  • Familiar with project management concepts.
  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors etc.
