About The Position
The Bryan County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for Detention Officer.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Applicant must not have any felony convictions
- Must successfully pass drug screening as conditional employment offer
- Must pass extensive background inquiry
Nice To Haves
- Completion of basic jail officer’s course from G.P.S.T.C.
- Have P.O.S.T certification as basic law enforcement officer
