About The Position

The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATVs in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The Detailer washes, cleans, waxes, and vacuums interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display, and service customer units. Using a forklift or tractor, the Detailer participates in unloading incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs, then transports them to various areas within the dealership, such as the storage lot, outside display, showroom floor, or customer delivery area. They confirm packing lists or invoices for all boat loads or other product deliveries. The Detailer transports and stages customer boats and ATVs to service, rigging, and storage yards by moving units from one location to another as necessary. They maintain an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items. Additionally, they assist the Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes, and inform the Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs. The role also includes performing grounds and facility maintenance as required and keeping the work area neat and clean. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School education or equivalent experience
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.
Ability to complete simple math calculation.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and fellow outfitters.

Responsibilities
