About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Car Detailer to prepare rental vehicles for customers. This hands-on, outdoor role helps ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable, and ready for the road. No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided. The position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely. The listed pay is $15.50 per hour, with a shift premium that may apply.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Pride in producing clean, high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderate-noise environment.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and continuously stand, walk, bend, enter and exit vehicles, and drive a variety of vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and sanitize vehicle interiors.
• Remove trash and prepare vehicles for the next rental.
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for auto body damage and monitor dashboard warning indicators.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles across airport lots as needed.
• Help ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable, and available for customers.
