About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Car Detailer to prepare vehicles for customers and ensure they are clean, safe, and ready for the road. This is an outdoor, on-site role at airport lots. No experience is necessary, and on-the-job training is provided. The position requires flexibility to work all shifts and includes a rate of $16.10 per hour; a shift premium may apply.

The role involves cleaning and inspecting vehicles, refueling them, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and moving or organizing vehicles as needed. The work is active and requires standing, walking, bending, entering and exiting vehicles, and driving a variety of vehicles. Employees work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderate-noise environment.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pride in producing clean, high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a moderate-noise environment.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and continuously stand, walk, bend, enter and exit vehicles, and drive a variety of vehicles.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Regular on-site presence is required; the role cannot be performed remotely.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Wash and vacuum vehicles, sanitize interiors, and remove trash.
• Prepare vehicles for the next rental while meeting quality and cleanliness standards.
• Refuel vehicles and check fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Inspect vehicles for auto body damage and monitor dashboard warning indicators.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles across airport lots as needed.
• Help ensure vehicles are clean, safe, reliable, and available for customers.
