About The Position

Scholfield Honda is searching for a skilled car detailer to add to their team. This role is responsible for making vehicles look their absolute best by performing a variety of detailing tasks, including washing, waxing, and polishing cars, as well as cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles. Scholfield Honda is Wichita's exclusive Honda dealer with the largest selection of new and pre-owned Hondas in Kansas, with two locations in Wichita. The dealership has been family-owned and operated since 1971 and has been a Wichita Business Journal's (WBJ) Best Places to Work Award nominee for 15 years, winning their company category three years in a row.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Completion of drug and background screening
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Prior Car Detailing experience

Responsibilities

Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles using a variety of products and methods
Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals
Vacuum the interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
Perform inspections to ensure that each step of the cleaning process has been completed
