About The Position

Teph Seal Auto Appearance is hiring flat-rate detailers for detail and reconditioning centers located in auto dealerships. Detailers maintain store facilities and provide high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality products and service, courteous interactions, and timely responses to inquiries and complaints. The role involves driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles. Openings are listed for Detail Specialist 1, requiring some experience, and Detail Specialist 2, requiring more than two years of experience. The position requires manual dexterity and bodily coordination to wash, dry, wax, and buff vehicles; vacuum interiors; clean upholstery and surfaces; and apply preservation chemicals. Detailers may use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather or fabric and may clean grease from engines or engine compartments. Additional duties may be assigned by management to meet operational needs. Compensation is flat rate.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as needed to meet production needs.
Ability to distinguish small imperfections in detailing work and maintain clarity of vision and hearing.
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
Ability to follow uniform and grooming standards.
Successful completion of drug and background screening is required for employment.

Responsibilities

Maintain store facilities and provide high-quality service to customers.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and establish conclusions in a timely manner.
Drive, detail, and clean vehicles.
Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solutions.
Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines as needed.
Vacuum vehicle interiors and clean upholstery and surfaces.
Use air compressors and cloths to dry vehicle surfaces.
Apply preservation chemicals to protect surfaces against spots and stains.
Use dyes, paints, and waxes to protect vehicle leather or fabric as required.
Clean grease from engines or engine compartments as required.
Inspect the quality of personal work and that of other team members.
Carry out additional duties assigned by management to meet operational needs.
