About The Position

Hunter Truck is hiring a part-time Detailer to prepare new and used units for delivery. The role is based in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The listed address is 100 Hunters Way, Smithfield, PA 15478.

The Detailer supports customer satisfaction by ensuring trucks are ready for delivery, washing and polishing them, polishing aluminum and stainless steel, installing hubcaps and other extras, identifying visible defects, and cleaning and detailing interiors. The position also involves working efficiently and accurately without supervision, maintaining relationships with other departments, following workplace health and safety policies, and maintaining a professional appearance. Hunter Truck describes itself as a family-owned Peterbilt dealership established in 1938, with operations across several northeastern states.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must meet company insurability standards.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new and used units for delivery.
• Ensure trucks are ready for delivery and meet customer satisfaction needs.
• Wash and polish trucks according to sales and service department needs.
• Polish aluminum and stainless steel.
• Install hubcaps, nut covers, and other extras as needed.
• Identify deficiencies such as scratches, dents, and paint defects.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors.
• Perform work without supervision, efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership standards.
• Maintain working relationships with other departments.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Adhere to and promote workplace health and safety policies.
• Be willing to learn and grow within the dealership for potential advancement.
