Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40#’s without assistance.
  • Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling or bending positions.
  • Ability to work with arms above head.
  • Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding.
  • Ability to stand at a workstation for ten hours a day (minus specified breaks.)
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
  • Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery.
  • Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • Ability to handle and dispose of hazardous waste.
  • Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.
  • Occasionally lift up to but not exceed 40#’s.
  • Ability to work with arms above head.
  • Ability to frequently step up and down into a unit during a 10 hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • The primary function of this position is the general cleaning and detailing of vehicles.
  • Perform duties within the allotted time standards.
  • Clean and detail units assigned to meet assigned daily production goals.
  • Read and interpret all production orders with a minimum amount of assistance.
  • Meet all QA and QC standards for each task per assigned department. Ensure cleaning and detailing tasks are completed per instructions.
  • Be compliant with all the rules of conduct and attendance per the company handbook.
  • Meet all safety standards per assigned department.
  • Meet all housekeeping standards per assigned department.
  • Ensure that hazardous waste is handled appropriately and placed into the proper container(s).
  • Maintains all satellite and storage containers in a closed position unless adding or removing waste.
  • Knows spill response procedures and evacuation routes.
  • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.
  • Function with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
  • Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.
