About The Position
Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Detail Department Manager to lead their detailing team and ensure every vehicle leaves their dealership looking its absolute best. This role is for a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality work, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Requirements
- Previous automotive detailing experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership or management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
- Lead, train, and oversee the daily operations of the detail department.
- Manage workflow and ensure vehicles are completed on time.
- Maintain high standards for quality and presentation.
- Delegate work and coach team members to improve performance.
- Ensure all detailing equipment and supplies are maintained and organized.
- Work closely with Sales, Service, and Used Vehicle departments to prioritize vehicles.
