About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large healthcare client in Lihue, Kauai. This role will be focused on a PC Lifecycle Replacement project, assisting with the deployment of new systems and decommissioning of legacy equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with desktop support, imaging, and troubleshooting, along with strong customer service skills to support end users in a clinical environment.

Requirements

• Basic experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
• Experience with imaging and deploying devices (e.g., SCCM, MDT, or similar tools)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally when moving equipment

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy new desktop and laptop systems
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on end-user devices
• Decommission and properly dispose of outdated equipment
• Provide on-site technical support to healthcare staff and end users
• Assist with inventory tracking and asset management
• Ensure all work is completed in alignment with project timelines and standards
• Perform additional technical support duties as assigned
