About The Position

Oxford Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hybrid technical support for a client environment. This role combines onsite and remote troubleshooting and is ideal for someone comfortable supporting a variety of users, devices, and workplace technologies.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of desktop, help desk, or technical support experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows environments and Windows Server.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Experience supporting Apple devices and Chromebooks.
• Strong hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be dependable, able to travel between locations as needed, and have reliable personal transportation.

Nice To Haves

• IT, network and/or security certifications a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 desktop and technical support for hardware, software, connectivity, and user access issues.
• Troubleshoot Windows-based systems, Apple products, Chromebooks, and related peripherals.
• Support Google Workspace applications and user issues.
• Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and support of large interactive digital displays.
• Provide support for Chromebook devices, including basic diagnostics, configuration, and coordination of repairs.
• Resolve escalated technical issues and assist Level I support staff as needed.
• Perform basic Windows Server troubleshooting, maintenance, and support.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues within the ticketing system.
• Provide both in-person and remote technical assistance while maintaining responsive customer service.
